This study explored the acceptability of delivering communication skills training via telehealth for people with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their carers. Results showed no significant differences between telehealth and in-person delivery in retention, programme completion, home practice, or therapeutic alliance, and participants generally found telehealth acceptable. Three themes were identified from interviews: telehealth improves access within daily life, in-person sessions provide natural human interaction, and participants weigh the advantages of each delivery mode.
