This review examined training programmes for communication partners of individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) to enhance communication outcomes. The findings suggest that such training can produce meaningful benefits for both people with TBI and their partners, with several programmes showing moderate to strong positive effects. However, most studies were small and varied in quality, indicating a need for more rigorous research and clearer intervention guidelines to optimise effectiveness.
